NewGen expands US Talent department with two senior hires

The two senior appointments join our New York office – Joowon Lee as Associate Talent Director and Mark Sharman as Senior Talent Manager.
These new appointments come following NewGen’s first senior hire – Dana Pirkle as Executive Vice President of Talent – to its US talent department in 2025. They will be tasked with managing creator rosters, brand activations and brand consultancy.
Joowon Lee joins as Associate Talent Director, bringing creators including the Baka Bros (LuckyChamu, Diazbiffle and Repullze), Jalon and Brandon as the department scales its US roster.
Joowon previously held the position of VP of Talent Management at The Kinetic Group, where she focused on empowering creators to achieve long-term strategy goals and monetize across all content forms, including developing campaigns on behalf of brands such as UFC and Activision, as well as spearheading live events. Earlier in her career, she held assistant and coordinator roles at Press X and Addition LLC, where she gained foundational experience in talent-brand partnerships, including supporting NASCAR’s live on-site digital programme and The CW’s Batwoman campaign from sales through to execution.
Mark Sharman joins as Senior Talent Manager, bringing notable creators including Lena Lemon, Loochy, Harry Kenya, TonyCeno, Atarabyte and SquishyMuffinz to the roster. He acts as an operating partner to his roster of creator-entrepreneurs, structuring brand deals and activations with the likes of Netflix, Sony and Red Bull, and managing long-term careers across gaming, lifestyle, automotive and tech verticals. Mark joins from Bad Moon Talent, where he spent over five years scaling the talent division centered around short-form content creators and tier-one esports broadcast talent.
NewGen continues to scale the USA with strategic hires, growing its talent roster, creator signings, reach and wider delivery services.
